The Student Ministry at Walnut Memorial ministers to students in grades 6th-12th. We meet every Sunday morning for bible study at 9:45 AM, where we divide into Middle School and High School groups. Wednesday nights we meet at 6:00 PM, where we have our worship and study.  On Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM, we meet in small groups divided up between boys and girls. Every 4th Sunday night we do a monthly fellowship called Bring It.  

Students bring food to share and bring friends to hang out and play games.
Our teenagers serve in many areas of the church such as Awana, Kingdom Kids, Tech Ministry, Nursery, and Helping Hands Kitchen. Throughout the year we participate in many community activities, retreats, camps, and missions.

WMBC Youth Fall Retreat 2026


The fall retreat is at Camp Schafer from October 2nd-4th (Friday evening to a Sunday morning).
This weekend is a time for us to refocus and recharge as we spend time studying what His Word has to say about true worship.

True worship reaches beyond songs and Sundays and has no limits.
Students will see that worship is a daily response to the unmatched name of Jesus. A name that brings freedom, draws near in every moment, and calls us to reflect His light to the world. He alone is worthy of our lives, our praise, and our witness.
