The Student Ministry at Walnut Memorial ministers to students in grades 6th-12th. We meet every Sunday morning for bible study at 9:45 AM, where we divide into Middle School and High School groups. Wednesday nights we meet at 6:00 PM, where we have our worship and study.  On Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM, we meet in small groups divided up between boys and girls. Every 4th Sunday night we do a monthly fellowship called Bring It.  

Students bring food to share and bring friends to hang out and play games.
Our teenagers serve in many areas of the church such as Awana, Kingdom Kids, Tech Ministry, Nursery, and Helping Hands Kitchen. Throughout the year we participate in many community activities, retreats, camps, and missions.

Crossings 2026

Crossings is at Jonathan Creek, from June 20-24.  We will be staying at Waller Dorm this year and the camp speaker is Caleb Davis. The full cost is $360, but you can secure your spot with a $100 deposit. We have a limited number of spots, so sign up soon!

Ky Changers 2026

Student Changers offers more than just a weeklong mission trip; we want to provide tools and training that equip your students who have completed grades 6-12 for a lifetime of missional living. Participants engage in construction projects, times of worship, and reflection designed to help them encounter and respond to God.
